High School

For over 20 years, The Ingenuity Project® has provided an accelerated math, science, and research program to Baltimore City’s gifted and advanced middle and high school students. Alumni of the program are becoming the next generation of leaders in science, technology, engineering, and math.

  • Regeneron (former Intel) Science Talent Search: semifinalist
  • Intel International Science ad Engineering Fair (ISEF) – 3rd place in Physics and Astronomy category
  • National Junior Science & Humanities Symposium (JSHS): 2nd place in Biomedical Sciences category
  • Baltimore Science Fair: Grand Prize in Biological Sciences category and 1st Prize in Physical Sciences category. Two students went to Los Angeles to compete at the 2017 ISEF. Additionally 12 students received a total of 20 special awards
  • Maryland JSHS: 2nd , 3rd and 4th Place. 1st place in Poster Presentation competition. Three students earned the opportunity to compete at the 55th National JSHS in San Diego, CA.
  • University of Maryland College Park High School Mathematics Competition: Baltimore City winner. Six students were invited to participate in Part II of the competition
  • American Mathematics Competition:  Ingenuity student, one of the top Maryland scorers, was invited to the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME)
  • Four students have been accepted to the Future Scholars Program at the Johns Hopkins University
  • 9 Johns Hopkins University Baltimore Scholars, 1 UMBC Meyerhoff Scholar, 4 College Park Banneker/Key Scholars, 1 Duke University Alumni Endowed Undergraduate Scholar, 1 Washington University in St. Louis Scholar, 1 Boston University Richard Cohen Scholar, 1 Yale University Yale Scholar, 1 Howard University Bison STAM Scholar, 1 Boston College BC Scholar
